SALADO, Texas -- Hardin-Simmons' men's golf team shot a 315 and is in 10^th place at the UMHB Fall Invitational at the par-71, 6,502-yard layout at Mill Creek Golf Course in Salado.

J.C. Eagle was the top Cowboy as he shot a 71 and he is in third place in the medalist race, three strokes behind Chris Milligan of UT-Brownsville. UTB leads the team race by five strokes over UT-Dallas after shooting a 295.

Sam Antony shot a 78, Michael Weehunt an 81 and Adam Parker fired an 85 for the Cowboys four counting scores. Justin Renfro shot an 86.

The tournament will conclude on Tuesday with 18 holes.
