RICHARDSON, Texas - Much like they have done to the competition for the last seven years, HSU dominated the American Southwest Conference women's tennis awards as voted on by the league's coaches.

Tracy Henington claimed her second straight American Southwest Conference most valuable player award and was also voted first-team All-ASC and All-ASC West. Hazel de la Torre was also named to the All-ASC and All-ASC West team.

Brittany Brazell was named the ASC West Freshman of the Year marking the third straight year the Cowgirls have had the top freshman in the league.

Brazell, Bria Camarillo, Sara West and Kassidi Langley were placed on the All-ASC teams as participating members of the championship team. Camarillo was named second-team All-ASC West and Brazell was named honorable mention All-ASC West.

Shane Williford was named the ASC West Coach of the Year. HSU is 12-3 on the year, the Cowgirls extended their ASC winning streak to 67 matches and will advance to their third NCAA Championship appearance.
